Georgia Power Company

At Georgia Power Company, Jay Sport worked in operations for both oil-fired steam and combustion turbine power generation and in public relations for nuclear power generation.  

Jay also worked several years at Georgia Power's research laboratory specializing in underground electrical distribution technology.  Here he developed and implemented testing programs and procedures for internal application as well as for programs sponsored by external organizations such as the Electric Power Research Institute.
