For a private university, performed research and analysis about Event Management.  Focus was on, but not limited to, fund raising events and the use of technology to facilitate event management.  Interviews conducted were primarily in the Institutional Advancement, Development and Alumni Relations areas.

For a mid-tier university, performed research and analysis on the processes to create and control access to facilities, including residence halls, academic and other facilities.

For a university in the northeastern United States, performed research, benchmarking and analysis and made recommendations on the roles and processes of the Payroll and Human Resources areas concentrating on consolidating functions where applicable.  Focused on a Service Center concept where many tasks would be “outsourced” to the end customer.

Researched and educated a large university on other institution’s management of expense reimbursements, procurement strategies and accountable plans.  Special focus was paid to documentation and IRS requirements for taxation status.

For a private research institute looking to move higher in National Rankings in an effort to secure larger amounts of research funding, investigated factors affecting funding with a focus on effort reporting. Identified comparison criteria and target schools, analysed the number of agencies funding and projects funded.  Reviewed the post-award administration, including effort reporting procedures and policies, systems, records maintenance and certification status.

Under the auspices of a major university, and for a higher education consortium, prepared comparison and educational materials on procurement models used by higher education institutions.  Put together presentations on the tools, the landscape of higher education procurement, and case studies of higher education buying alternatives and industry players known to have best in class procurement models.

For an independent music college, explored faculty wage structure for inequities, taking into account many distinct variables.  Also analyzed total cost of benefits to participants and the institution under various scenarios.
